Winter Twitter Project

We’ve got a winter project going on, which involves tweeting instruction pieces submitted by our members. If you’re on Twitter, you can follow us @otherotherother. This is what it looks like so far:

After a long silence, during which we’ve eaten cake & drunk wine (‘A Salon’), & being called freaks on Mousehold Heath, we’re back.

We have a WINTER PLAN which involves you, dear public, without us having to go outside. Over the next few weeks it will be published here…

We have asked all our members to write a performance instruction for you to carry out. First one coming up.

Find a cold window. Breathe onto the glass for a whole exhalation. Trace the outline of something in the distance with your nose.

The next email you type will be in Comic Sans font size 16 font colour pink.

Mouse Call

As an extension of our ‘House Call’ workshops, in which the collective gathers at a member’s house and performs a site-specific piece, we are currently each devising work for performance on Mousehold Heath at the end of September. It’s a chance for each of us to experiment with outdoor performance without the pressure of a commission or invited audience: it’ll just be for us, and any passing dog-walkers. If there is documentation we’ll post it up here afterwards…

Michael and Sam get competitive

We will be doing our thing (aka Now That’s What We Call Live Art…) all over Norwich Arts Centre again on Saturday 4th September, 1-4pm as part of the launch event for an exhibition called ‘Afterlive’ (more about that HERE).

All performances by Other/other/other members will be free to access but get there for 1pm to avoid missing anything.
